Fishing

Fishing is one of the most beloved past times of the North Shore. Luckily you will be staying only a few hundred feet from the largest freshwater lake in the world. In addition to the big lake, there are plenty of inland lakes for you to fish from.

Hiking

If you are up on the North Shore to hike, look no further than the Superior Hiking Trail. The Superior Hiking Trail starts in Duluth and runs alongside Lake Superior all the way to the USA/Canadian Border. The Superior Hiking Trail runs through several premier Minnesota state parks as well.

Canoeing

Canoeing is a great way to explore the inland lakes of Minnesota. If you do not have a canoe to bring with you, there are plenty of canoe rentals along the North Shore.
