If
you like outdoor activities in a beautiful setting, the
North Shore of Lake Superior has it all. You can enjoy hiking,
kayaking, snowshoeing, whitewater rafting, flyfishing,
canoeing and cross country skiing at one of eight State Parks.
Downhill skiing is the best in the Midwest at Lutsen, Spirit Mountain
or Giant's Ridge or you could play a round at one of the area's
scenic golf courses. Exploring the shore by car will reveal hidden
museums, unique shops, lighthouses, waterfalls everywhere, some
great restaurants and spectacular fall colors.
